He and his family are regular attendees at the Celebrate Conference in Ilfracombe each Easter. He is also a part of the HOTS (Healing on the Streets) team in Hereford working with 15 other churches.

BIOGRAPHY

Chris was educated by the Jesuits at St Michael’s College in Leeds which he left at the age of 16 years with just four GCSE passes. He worked for a short time in a department store before beginning a career with the Halifax Building Society. After three years he decided that the financial world was not for him and chose instead to join the police and served both in North Yorkshire Police and later West Mercia Constabulary, retiring in 2007 after a fruitful career.

Whilst serving in the police, Chris earned a BA Honours degree from the Open University and worked part time for the OU as an Associate Lecturer.

After retirement, Chris worked part-time as a teaching assistant at a local Catholic Primary School, taking responsibility for the liturgical life of the school and he also attained Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status. It was during this time that he embarked on his studies for a Master’s degree.

In April 2010 Chris moved on to establish a ministry providing a variety of services to Christian establishments, organisations, events and conferences and including administrative services to a local Catholic Parish.  More recently he has been giving talks on the New English Translation of the Roman Missal.
